Through an understanding of our relationship with the natural world, Wright’s designs were inspired by organic forms. Max Hoffman, an automobile importer, commissioned Wright to design a house in Rye, NY and a dealership in New York City. Bold circles and squares were the carpet design for the Hoffman living room.
