Evergreen perennial native to California coastal strand dune communities. Grows as a compact white mound of distinctive, silvery white foliage to 1’ tall, 3’ wide. Flowers are noticeable but not showy, they go sideways, and are produced in summer. Sun, good drainage, little or no summer watering. Best in cooler coastal climates, but will grow in interior heat.
