Dracaena are reliable and increasingly

popular indoor plants. Dracaena are known for their variety of form and

striking ornamental foliage. They prefer moderate to warm conditions

with a minimum of 55 °F. Cold may cause odema, cell blast where the

leaves of most species become black and soft. Does best in shaded to

medium light. Direct sun may burn or bleach the leaves. D. marginata and

D.fragrans can tolerate lower light. For most varieties, soil should be

lightly moist otherwise leaves may develop brown tips. Dracaena Michiko

prefers to be dryer. Over watering in cool environments can cause leaf

loss. High levels of fluoride or chlorine may also cause tip burn.
