We’re excited about our first arrival from Cal Coast Orchids, expected this coming Friday, February 5th!
Company co-founder and head grower Bas van Eijk and his wife and partner Alison Glasco produce sustainably-grown orchids using Dutch methods. Their growing facility is perfectly situated in Los Osos, California, near San Luis Obispo. The region happens to have an ideal climate for growing Phalaenopsis, one of their specialties.
Here’s what’s in our first order! Colors may vary from those pictured. All 5″ standard (i.e. non-heart-shaped) Phalaenopsis orchids will come in a decorative EcoPot, shown below.
- 5″ Phalaenopsis Orchid (Pink, Red, Purple)
- 5″ Phalaenopsis Orchid (Yellow, Orange)
- 5″ Phalaenopsis Orchid (Variegated Coloring)
- 5″ Circle Wreath Orchid
- 5″ Heart Orchid
- 3″ Mini orchids
- 1-gallon Cymbidium orchid- Cymbidiums can live outside on a patio (with some protection) in Sacramento!
