If you’re lucky enough to have a dad who was a) there for you and b) is still with us… then spoil that guy! If your family isn’t gift oriented, then maybe Dad would enjoy the experience of grabbing some takeout coffee with you from one of our neighboring coffee shops before perusing our flower and veggie filled aisles and lounging (gently, please) on our comfy, swanky Fermob furniture display.
With a little forethought, you can also pre-order some yummy food to pick up from Faria Bakery or La Venadita or Vibe Health Bar or any other open eateries in Oak Park. Some restaurants are allowing dine-in customers, but if you’re not ready for that, get it to go. Even if you’re distancing to keep dad safe… you can be together and have a special day and make some new memories while listening to all those old dad jokes, which he thinks never get old. Try not to roll your eyes so hard that day. 😉
